At The Body Center we proudly train clients in STOTT PILATES. We believe in Pilates not as a popular exercise type but as a way to become stronger in both mind and body, become more flexible and balanced and overcome muscular and postural challenges making us more fit and functional.
At The Body Center we emphasize breath, core conditioning and body awareness. Clients come to The Body Center to learn Pilates but gain so much more during their training. They achieve an awareness of their bodies that is invaluable to a successful Pilates practice and to attaining a healthy and functional body.
We’re unique in our approach in that we strive to make the complex world of anatomy and exercise understandable and applicable to every client from the athlete to the average adult who may not know muscle names or actions. We break down the components of each exercise and muscle action in a non-intimidating manner with specific attention to each client’s lifestyle so that everyone can build body awareness and learn the exercises in a comfortable way.
By using this down to earth, easy to understand approach, The Body Center’s clients have been successful in their Pilates practice and, more importantly, in transferring the Pilates principles to everyday life.


New clients are required to complete the Informed Consent Policy and Information Health Questionnaire forms before any classes are scheduled.
