Class Descriptions

Our class names reflect the emphasis of each session rather than rigid levels. Many classes are thoughtfully layered to support a range of experience within the same format. Progression is guided by instructors, so you don’t need to determine where you belong on your own.

ESSENTIAL REFORMER

Essential Reformer is a full-body class focused on foundational Pilates exercises, taught at a manageable pace that prioritizes clarity, control, and coordination. Sessions emphasize learning how to initiate movement, stabilize through transitions, and move with intention rather than effort.

This class serves as a supportive entry point for those new to Pilates, while remaining valuable for experienced clients who want to refine fundamentals and reconnect with core principles. Familiarity with the equipment develops naturally through clear cueing and thoughtful pacing.

Open to all levels — no prior Reformer experience required.

If you’re unsure where to begin, this class provides a strong and welcoming foundation.

ESSENTIAL REFORMER – SETS

Essential Reformer — Sets builds on the Essential Reformer framework by introducing longer work intervals and shorter recovery periods. Exercises remain rooted in familiar Essential movements, with an emphasis on sustaining control and coordination over time.

The format adds an element of continuity and endurance while maintaining focus on precision rather than intensity. This class offers a fresh way to experience Essential work without changing the underlying principles.

Best suited for clients comfortable with Essential Reformer pacing and concepts.

If you’re unsure whether this format is right for you, our instructors are happy to help guide you.

ESSENTIAL + INTERMEDIATE REFORMER

This class builds on the Essential Reformer framework by introducing additional layers of challenge, coordination, and continuity. Movements remain grounded in familiar exercises while progressing toward more complex sequences that require greater control and clarity.

Emphasis is placed on how movements are initiated, supported, and connected — not on rushing or increasing intensity. As coordination improves, transitions become smoother and the work feels more continuous, reflecting growth in control rather than effort.

Best suited for clients comfortable with Essential Reformer concepts who are ready to explore more layered movement.

If you’re unsure whether this class is right for you, our instructors are always happy to help guide you.

INTERMEDIATE REFORMER

Intermediate Reformer introduces more layered movement patterns, coordination challenges, and varied spring resistance while remaining grounded in Essential Pilates principles. Exercises require greater organization and awareness as sequences become more complex and transitions more continuous.

The focus is on maintaining control, clarity, and breath as the work becomes more demanding — not on rushing or performing movements for difficulty’s sake.

Designed for clients ready to work with more layered coordination and resistance.

Progression into this class is typically guided by instructors based on readiness and control.

INTERMEDIATE + ADVANCE REFORMER

Intermediate + Advanced Reformer is a highly continuous class that emphasizes precision, flow, and sustained organization throughout longer sequences. Movements require the ability to activate, stabilize, and transition between muscle groups with intention and control.

While exercises may appear more complex, the defining expectation is not strength alone but the ability to maintain clarity, balance, and breath as movement becomes increasingly fluid.

Best suited for clients who can sustain control and coordination through continuous sequences.

Readiness for this class is generally guided by instructors rather than self-assessment.

JUMP REFORMER – SETS

Jump Reformer — Sets integrates jumpboard work into Essential Reformer exercises, emphasizing rhythm, coordination, and control rather than impact or intensity. Plyometric elements are balanced with foundational Pilates movements to support joint safety and efficient movement patterns.

Intervals are structured to challenge cardiovascular endurance while maintaining focus on alignment, stability, and breath throughout the class.

Best suited for clients familiar with Essential Reformer concepts who are comfortable with dynamic movement.

If you’re unsure whether this class is right for you, our instructors are happy to help guide you.

ALIGN & RESTORE

Align & Restore is a supportive, full-body class designed to restore ease and balance through the spine and joints. The focus is on thoughtful, controlled movement that encourages suppleness, coordination, and a deeper sense of connection throughout the body.

Exercises are drawn from the Essential Reformer framework and include both unilateral and bilateral work, with an emphasis on form, awareness, and intentional movement rather than intensity. The pace allows time to explore movement quality while still feeling grounded and effective.

Open to all levels — no prior Pilates experience required.

This class is well suited for anyone looking for a more restorative approach while still engaging core principles of control and alignment.
